Legendary Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur, Micheal Owusu Addo, know in the entertainment circle as Sarkodie and dancehall giant, Samini, have both endorsed Ghana’s President, Nana Akuffo Addo’s bid for a second term in Office.
In Sarkodie’s new song he released yesterday titled ‘Happy Day’ which features reigning VGMA artiste of the year, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie stated clearly that looking at some of the great policies implemented by Nana Addo have been very beneficial to many Ghanaians including himself. Hence, the need for Ghanaians to award Nana Addo with a second term.
These policies, he said, includes the Free SHS and uninterrupted power supply to homes and industry.
“I spoke about Dumsor and the high inflation rate, so today if both have been solved with Ghanaians enjoying Free SHS, then all i can say is that Nana Should continue for another four years”. He said.
Dancehall act, Samini, similarly endorsed Nana Addo in his song ‘Kpoyaka’ which catologued the achievements of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo across all sectors.
“Nana showboy is number one on the ballot paper, Nana continue with the work because you have delivered”. Samini said in the song.
Will the endorsements from these big brands have any effect on the election?
