Sarkodie and Samini were paid Ghs 500k each to endorse Nana Addo- Sam George alleges

Sam Nartey George, Member of parliament for ningo-prampram has alleged that some celebrities who have started endorsing President Akuffo Addo’s second term bid were paid to do so.

According Sam George, they pocketed Ghs 500,000 before the endorsement, and therefore, people should not be swayed by their endorsement for the NPP.

He said, even though we love their craft and enjoy their music, we can not trust their choices because they’re induced with money.

” Don’t be swayed by any funny endorsements people. We may love their music and groove to it but we don’t trust their political choices especially when they’re worth Ghs 500,000″. He alleged.

NDC’s communicator on creative arts, Baba Sadiq, also made similar allegation on his twitter page yesterday.

This allegation comes just a day after Samini and Sarkodie endorsed Nana Addo’s second term bid with their music.

Samini released a song titled ‘Kpoyaka’ which catalogued the President’s achievements across all sectors of the economy.

Sarkodie also indicated in his new song ‘Happy day’ that he has enjoyed stable power supply since Nana Addo assumed power and in addition to that, his kids are also enjoying free shs. Hence, Ghanaians should award Nana Addo with a second term.
